This notice covers MAARZLAB goog5tb Storage, the private Google Drive archive tool operated by MAARZLAB. It is separate from n4mu's website privacy notice.

What the tool accesses

With the account owner's consent, the tool is intended to use Google's drive.file permission to create separately approved archive files and manifests, list their metadata, and download app-created or explicitly selected files for integrity checks and restoration. It does not request access to unrelated Drive files or permission to use the Gmail, Contacts or Google Photos APIs.

Connection checks also verify the connected Google account's email address and read its storage quota and usage, to confirm that the intended account and storage are available. This is not access to the account's Gmail messages or Google Photos library.

How the data is used

Archive content, filenames, file identifiers, sizes and checksums are used to store and find archives, check the downloaded copy, and restore files when authorised. MAARZLAB does not use data accessed through this archive app for advertising, sell that data, or use it to train AI models.

Storage and access

Archive files are kept in the operator's Google Drive and on the operator's managed computers for preparation, verification and restoration. Access is limited to the authorised operator and the managed archive jobs. Google processes the stored files under its own service terms and privacy policy.

OAuth client credentials and access tokens are kept in restricted local configuration files on the account owner's managed computers, protected by operating-system access permissions. They are excluded from the public website, archive manifests and routine job reports. Operational reports may include dates, local file paths, archive identifiers, sizes, checksums and verification results, but not credential values.

Retention and control

Archives are retained until the account owner separately and explicitly approves removal. Archive jobs do not automatically delete or prune source files or stored copies. The account owner can stop future access by revoking the app in Google Account connections. Revocation does not delete copies already held locally or in Drive.

Google user data

The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. The authorised archive and restoration functions described here are the purposes for which Google data is used.

This notice will be updated before any materially different use or broader permission is introduced.
